These scams often misuse MW’s name and trademarks without permission to lure individuals into joining chat groups or downloading apps, which are then used to perpetrate fraud or seek personal or confidential information.
Please be informed that MW does not authorise any use of its name, brand, or reputation, and does not tolerate fraudulent activity. MW reserves the right to take all appropriate steps to protect its legal rights and reputation.

Do not send e-mails to anyone with an address other than authorised MW e-mail addresses. MW does not permit our employees and authorised representatives to send or receive work related e-mails from personal accounts like gmail.com or yahoo.com; or conduct business over chat platforms, including but not limited to, platforms such as WhatsApp, GChat, iMessage, WeChat, RedNote, Signal or Skype.
Imposters may use the MW name in furtherance of a variety of criminal activities. In particular, beware of scams purportedly affiliated with MW that promise extraordinary returns on your investment at little to no risk. These “high-yield investment programs” are frauds. For more information on high-yield investment programs and how to avoid them please visit your local competent authority’s website, or if you think you have been the victim of internet crime, you may file a complaint with your local government agency.
