Our Application Process

Our application process

We have developed our process to allow us to get the best understanding of your skills and behaviours. Additionally, we’ll look to give you an understanding of what working at Marshall Wace is like. You can find out some more basic details below or download a more comprehensive application guide here.  

The stages:  

  1. Codility Test: If your CV meets our criteria, you will be invited to complete a Codility assessment. 
  2. Video Call: Successful candidates will progress to a video interview with one of our recruitment team to evaluate your interest in technology and soft skills. 
  3. Lab Test: Candidates who perform well in the video interview will be invited to complete a Lab Test, a virtual environment that assesses both technical and non-technical skills in a realistic setting. 
  4. Project Presentation: Those who excel in the Lab Test will have the opportunity to present a project of their choice, allowing us to further gauge your interest in technology and technical proficiency in your chosen topics. 
  5. Interviews:
    1. Virtual Technical: This is a 60-minute interview via Zoom to assess your technical ability.
    2. On-site interview: This stage includes Senior, Technical, and Human Capital interviews. This will be held on-site typically at the office you are applying to. We cannot complete this stage virtually.

Interview Dates 

We will work with you to find a suitable date when you get through the previous stage. 

Note: we require to meet all candidates in person at the end of their process. We will not complete the final stage virtually.
