It has come to our attention that one or more entities in China have established a fake Marshall Wace website and mobile phone app, which are fraudulently using the name, logo, web content and fund information of Marshall Wace LLP.
The entity/entities and its/their fake Marshall Wace website and mobile phone app are not connected to Marshall Wace LLP, Marshall Wace Investment Management (Shanghai) Limited, or any other entity within the Marshall Wace group, in any way. The address of our only official website is www.mwam.com, and we have not launched any official mobile phone app so far.
Marshall Wace LLP and its affiliates (“Marshall Wace”) is not authorized to offer its funds or any other financial products, or provide any financial services including trading or brokerage services, into the mainland of the People’s Republic of China (“Mainland China”). Any activity in Mainland China that purports to be the offering of Marshall Wace-managed funds or a facility operated by Marshall Wace to trade shares or other securities is fraudulent. In such an event, please report this to your local law enforcement agencies immediately.
