What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a talented graduate with a passion for problem solving and critical thinking to join the Fund Accounting team in London. The Fund Accounting team is ultimately responsible for the valuations and accounting of the funds managed by Marshall Wace. The role can be very broadly split into three distinct categories.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The successful graduate candidate will quickly become an integral member of this highly effective and driven team. Within this role you will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge of a breadth of financial markets and instruments as well as develop technical skills such as SQL and Excel.

You’ll have the opportunity to work within one or more of the functions below:

T+1 Operations/reconciliation

This section of the team is responsible for reconciling trades, positions, and cash against the multiple counterparties that we face off against. You will learn about all the individual products and asset classes that we trade and life cycle events.

NAV Production
The NAV team are responsible for the majority of the core fund accounting functions including production of daily fund valuations across all 110+ funds, agreeing performance fees, management fees and fund expenses, supporting fund launches and managing shareholder subscriptions and redemptions.

Pricing/valuations

The pricing team forms a key part of the broader NAV function and has a specific focus on the onboarding, valuation, and implementation of controls for securities that range from listed options to exotic derivatives across a broad range of asset classes.
